Enjoy Chair Yoga for Healthy Aging

Weekly classes – Wednesdays at 11:00am 

In this class participants practice poses seated in a chair or standing with the assistance of a chair.  Great for active older adults who want to build strength and improve balance, coordination and posture.

Chair yoga is an ideal exercise for those suffering from conditions, such as chronic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoporosis, as well as Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis.  It is particularly important to implement practices such as chair yoga to encourage healthy aging.

Participants can expect a combination of dynamic movements to target mobility and improved circulation along with held postures to develop strength.
