This 4-week series is designed specially for beginners. It is perfect for those who have been curious about yoga but didn’t want to walk into a yoga class without any experience.
You will learn the foundations of Iyengar Yoga with other beginners in a welcoming environment.
This is an active class with each week building upon the prior weeks class. Clear, detailed instruction with focus on proper form and function will help you build a safe, fun and nurturing practice. You will be taught modifications for injuries so you understand how the poses work best for you according to your needs.

About the Instructor
Cristina Roy is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and has been practicing yoga since 2005. She has had a lifelong passion for helping people and loves sharing the tremendous benefits she herself received from yoga with others. Nothing makes her happier than hearing from her students the improvements they’ve experienced since starting their own yoga journey. She lives in Chelsea of the Town of Wappinger, NY with her husband where she operates a small yoga studio.
