Using yoga props as an aid is one of the hallmarks of Iyengar Yoga. The purpose of the props is to assist the student to attain ideal alignment and enable him/her to have experiences that they wouldn’t be able to have had otherwise.
This series uses one of the most versatile props, the chair, together with another amazing prop, the ropes, to help support and aid your practice. All this will help our bodies feel amazing, release stress and open up to learning.
Open to ALL LEVELS of students, some yoga experience preferred.
Limited to 8 participants. Advance registration required by January 16th.
About the Instructor
Cristina Roy is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and has been practicing yoga since 2005. She has had a lifelong passion for helping people and loves sharing the tremendous benefits she herself received from yoga with others. Nothing makes her happier than hearing from her students the improvements they’ve experienced since starting their own yoga journey. She lives in Chelsea of the Town of Wappinger, NY with her husband where she operates a small yoga studio.
